We're waiting on mom's nurse to get here. She should be here between 11:30 and 12:30. Then her physical therapist will be here around 2:00.
School is completed for the day and I have a batch of chocolate chip cookies in the oven, waiting to be devoured.
While we wait we're doing a Thanksgiving tradition of watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Mom has never seen A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, so we're looking forward to seeing her reaction to it.
Traditions are an individual family thing. We used to have one where our dad would take us kids to climb Crowders Mountain while mom stayed back and prepared Thanksgiving dinner. We haven't done that in a long time. And every Thanksgiving morning, daddy would make homemade milkshakes for breakfast. A tradition that hasn't changed for anyone that shows up at their home Thanksgiving morning.
Young Married Sunday school class, this is not an invitation.
So tell me....What Thanksgiving traditions does your family have?
