We were honored to attend the adoption party of the jewel above tonight. This adoption has certainly overcome more than its share of obstacles. But through it all, the Lord saw fit to give this beautiful little girl into the hands of a loving father, a brother, and a sister. What a joy it was to help them celebrate!
There were many people there we did not know. Some of them from the church where Brother Mike is now leading the music. They were so nice.
There was a ton of food to be eaten, thanks to Brother Mike's mother and sister. They did a terrific job!

I'm glad we were invited and had the opportunity to go. It was a celebration, for sure!
